Fagin Family - San Jose Children's Photographer

Wow...the last two weekends have been busy.  And I've still got one more day left in this weekend!  Whew!  So!  I give you, the Fagin Family.  Gina, Josh, Nick and Kasey...SO AWESOME!  Gina and Josh went to school together at UCSB, got married and had two amazing kids who I had the pleasure of photographing a week ago.  Nick is a charmer!  Omg, if I was 8 I would have such a crush on him!  Kasey is such a sweetheart!  She wasn't too into having her picture taken but she was such a cutie, it was hard to not keep the camera pointed at her.  Ok, so on to the pictures...

See what I mean??  CHARMER!  And Kasey's just like "you are so weird."  Love it!  Here's another one of my favorites:

Ah!  Gina, you're gorgeous!  And I think maybe Josh and Gina might hate me for this one but I seriously love it.  It cracks me up!  It's the perfect image to give someone some insight on how our shoot went that day.  Perfectly, awesome!

Gomez Family - San Jose Family Photographer

Well hello there!  Welcome back =)  I have some amazingly awesome photos to share with you from my amazingly awesome shoot a week ago with the Gomez Family.  Kelly and her husband have two of the most adorable kids!  Veronica and Max kept me laughing and on my toes the whole shoot...simply. awesome.

I love the fish-face!  Squish!  The next one is one of my favorites of just Veronica...cutie pie!

And then there's Max...he reminds me a little of my son...LOVE!

 

And my favorite shot of the whole family...the brick, the flowers, those cute little baby faces!  I can't get enough =)

Ahhhh it was a fun time, I enjoyed every minute!  So for today, that's it!  Awwwww, sad I know!  But there'll be more.  Soon!

I'm a blogging fool! ...almost...

Well folks, it's been a while since I've bloggity blog blogged.  And that's simply because I haven't had any new, amazing, awesome photos to share with you!  I'm bummed...it's been three weeks with no jobs.  BUT!  Things are looking up.  I have nine shoots scheduled in the next month and I.  Am.  Pumped!  YES!  I'll be working at the Rose Garden this afternoon with Kelly, her husband and two adorable (I'm sure they're adorable even though I haven't met them yet) kiddies.  I will post pics from today's session asap.  I promise.  With icing and a cookie on top.  On another note, I am SUPER excited to announce that my website http://www.emilysteen.com/ is up and running and ready for business!  Please check it out, like it, love it!  And tell your friends about it too =)

Lam-Chu Maternity shoot - Campbell Maternity Photographer

This was my first ever maternity shoot and it was FUN!  Mom was 38 weeks pregnant and getting over a cold, but she was still looking radiant!  Here's one of my favorite photos of her and her two girls:

 Olivia and Amelia were seriously so. much. fun. period!

They kind of stole the show...but I still managed to pry the camera away from them and get some awesome pics of Mom and Dad:

 I have one last photo that I need to share because this is one of those photos that I just can't stop looking at.  It's fabulous...magical...EPIC!  I am in love with a photo...it's true...

Jadeynn - San Jose Baby Photographer

This is Jadeynn.

She makes the BEST scrunchy face ever!  She wasn't too excited about having her picture taken but Mom and Dad knew exactly what would make her happy...

An iPhone that played "Itsy Bitsy Spider"...TOO CUTE!  This family was great to work with, Mom, Dad and Big Brother are all so photogenic and easy going.  A photographer's dream!

Seriously, SO much fun =)  You think this blog post is over???  Not quite!  I have to share one last picture that I just love so much! 

Ah!  LOVE!  Tiny sparkly shoes and the thing that saved the day =)  I'm hoping I get to work with these awesome people again in the future...Valdez family, you guys ROCK!

Baby Emery - Los Gatos Family Photographer

This is baby Emery.  Kind of like Emily...but totally not!  She was adorable!  She's five months old and made me wish my son was as teeny tiny as she is again.  Look at those eye!  Like a stormy sea =)

She must have been teething because she was chewing on EVERYTHING including mom and dad.  Here they are...almost as adorable as Emery...almost!

And I think this one has got to be one of my favorites so far (even though I'm not done editing their images yet!)

Beautiful!!  So that's it for today's installment.  Before I go, I have to mention again how much I love photography.  And how much I love photographing families!  No matter what kind of mood I wake up in, if I have a shoot to do that day it brings me to a whole new level of happiness.  I can't wait to make this my full time gig =)

Bullen Family - San Jose toddler photographer

Four days after this shoot, my legs were still sore!  I chased after this little guy for over an hour and had SO MUCH FUN!  This family is so sweet and so loving...I had a blast photographing them.  Their pictures aren't all done yet but I couldn't wait any longer to share a few =)

And then there's this one...look at those EYES!

*sigh* He wanted to show me his leaf...love!  I've got a bunch more but I don't want to share too many just yet.  I'll post more once these wonderful people have a chance to view all their images.  So until then...
